The current administration's immigration policies undermine core constitutional principles, violate court orders, and disregard protected statuses, deporting individuals to foreign detention centers without due process in blatant violation of the law. The racist nature of these policies is clear, with even U.S. citizens and green card holders subject to unjust detainment and draconian enforcement sweeps. President Trump's immigration agenda is cruel, illegal, and overtly racist. These actions represent a dangerous slide towards fascism that threatens our democratic system of checks and balances. Congress must take decisive action to uphold the rule of law, prevent further injustices that erode our nation's founding values, and stop President Trump's cruel, illegal, racist immigration policies.
