To: Illinois Senator Tammy Duckwork RE: C-SPAN September 22, 2026 and Your Stance on Impeachment Midterms are a very pivotal moment this year. It is a necessary step to help us begin taking back democracy. I believe we the people will show up in numbers never seen before and retake the House. However, I have concerns that elected Democrats in general will not meet the moment when it arrives. I was surprised and deeply disappointed in your decision to encourage other Democrats to not impeach Trump. This is a perfect example of what I mean though and why so many constituents and citizens have lost faith in Congress. When it seems no one listens to what we are saying, why are we even paying taxes? We have no representation. Impeach immediately. Convict. Remove. All of them. And abolish ICE. They are criminals. Trump has broken countless laws, committed war crimes and project 2025 tells us what else is coming. You can’t negotiate with an authoritarian, even if you join his side. Please impeach him first chance. Then get the rest of them.
