There should be a way to ignore SCOVA’s overturning of our April election based on the fact that AFTER the 2025 early vote had started, the procedure was challenged by Republicans, and SCOVA ruled that the process could continue. They greenlighted the process in progress, after the event that they later said nullified it. It is clear and obvious that they are just playing games, and it is infuriating. Since we won’t ignore it, despite their self-contradiction, we need to repeat the procedure NOW for the 2028 maps. We also need to be advocating for court reform, both in the Commonwealth and the US. We need to balance the court to create a partisanship-neutral body, though we as a people would benefit greatly by a leftist-bias in the court, because they would emphasize class equality, advocate health care and worker protections, corporate regulations to protect the environment, and so on. But for now, we just need to end the fascist leaning of the courts, because as long as it is as it is, they will toy with us to get what they want in all cases, and it’s disgusting.
