This rhetoric about taking over the Gaza Strip is deeply alarming and antithetical to American values of democracy and self-determination. The United States was founded in opposition to colonial occupation. Such military aggression against a civilian population would be a moral abomination and a severe violation of international law. We must reject this sickening war crime masquerading as policy. The United States is better than the racist warmongering being proposed. I urge you to forcefully condemn these unconscionable statements that betray our principles as a nation.
