I’m glad that the Senate just blocked a FISA re-authorization because of Bill Pulte, but I want all of Congress to go further. Please continue to vote against any re-authorization until Bill Pulte has been removed from his post and real privacy protections have been added. Congress needs to close the data broker loophole and end warrantless searches so that the lawless and dangerous folks in the Trump administration can’t surveil us. Data privacy is incredibly important to me—I’ll be watching this issue closely. Clean FISA is an oxymoron. It must be reformed!
