Urgent Request for Accountability and Transparency Regarding Epstein Files

To: Sen. Banks, Sen. Young

From: A constituent in Elkhart, IN

February 1

According to recent reports, the Department of Justice has withheld certain "client" names and redacted significant portions of the 3.5 million pages released. This lack of full transparency is unacceptable. I am specifically calling on you to: Demand Unredacted Access: Support efforts by the Senate Judiciary Committee to review unredacted lists of all government officials and "politically exposed persons" named in these records. Investigate Misconduct: Ensure that any credible allegations of wrongdoing, including those involving President Trump or his associates, are investigated thoroughly by the appropriate oversight committees. Hold Hearings: Use your position to call for public testimony from Department of Justice officials to explain the legal basis for any redactions that may be shielding powerful individuals from justice. The victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking network have waited decades for the truth. Justice cannot be served as long as there is even a suspicion that political power is being used to shield perpetrators or enablers. I look forward to hearing your position on this critical issue and learning what steps you will take to ensure that no one is above the law.
