Congress has the constitutional authority to declare war, and I expect you to exercise that authority now. The American people did not vote for another endless war in the Middle East. We have already witnessed the catastrophic human and financial costs of military interventions that lack clear objectives and exit strategies. I urge you to publicly oppose these strikes, demand that President Trump seek congressional authorization before any further military action against Iran, and support diplomatic efforts to de-escalate this crisis. The consequences of inaction are clear: more deaths, regional instability, and potentially another generation-defining war.
