Democrats are holding town halls and rallies and actually listening to the pain of the citizens who are having their lives and livelihoods taken away by this regime’s slash and burn attack on our society. That’s what it is - attacking society because our governmental institutions is the backbone of our society. I don’t know why Trump and Musk want to destroy the country. Maybe they think they will have more power when there is nothing left. Maybe they think they will be kings. But there is a reason it was created the way it was. People should be educated and fed and housed. Research should be funded. Our economy should be protected. No one wants to live in a house that has had its roof and walls ripped off. No one is going to be happy with a gutted government. Congress funded the government and created the institutions that the out of touch rich men in power are attacking for a reason. It should be protecting them now.
