Please add Virginia to WHO calls. Now that Trump has removed the USA from the World Health Organization, it is up to the states to take care of their people's health. Please consider adding Virginia to California's effort to stay informed on the world stage of public health. Did California join the WHO? Not exactly. States can’t be full members. But after the U.S. withdrawal, the California Department of Public Health began joining WHO weekly calls through the Global Outbreak Alert & Response Network, and other states will likely follow. This keeps states connected to critical information on global outbreaks and their potential impact on Americans, now that the CDC is no longer filling this role.
