I am writing to express my absolute outrage regarding the Department of Justice’s continued failure to fully comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405). As you are well aware, the statutory deadline for the release of these records was December 19, 2025.
While the DOJ recently released a tranche of documents in late January, reports from NPR and other investigative outlets indicate that millions of pages remain withheld or heavily redacted, including more than 50 pages of FBI interviews specifically involving allegations against President Trump. The American people are tired of the "rolling basis" excuses and the redaction of "politically exposed persons" that clearly violates the spirit, if not the letter, of the law.
Furthermore, the timing of the current military escalation with Iran—which has already resulted in American casualties and regional instability—is deeply suspicious. It is difficult not to view this sudden conflict as a calculated distraction intended to bury the headlines surrounding the Epstein files and the President's personal connections to that investigation.
Inaction is complicity. I demand that you:
1. Formally demand that Attorney General Pam Bondi and the DOJ release all remaining 6+ million pages of the Epstein-Maxwell files immediately and without further redaction of public figures.
2. Support the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into whether the DOJ has illegally withheld evidence of sexual abuse involving the President.
3. Exercise your War Powers authority to provide oversight on the conflict with Iran to ensure American lives are not being put at risk for political cover.
Do your job. The era of protecting powerful individuals at the expense of the truth and national security must end now. I look forward to your public response and a concrete plan of action.
