Request for a Vote on New Senate Democratic Leadership

To: Sen. Paul, Sen. McConnell

From: A verified voter in Benton, KY

November 6

Dear Senator, I am writing to urge you to call for a vote on the Senate Democratic leadership position and support opening the process to elect a new Majority Leader in place of Chuck Schumer. I believe Senate leadership should be accountable to the members it represents and responsive to the concerns and expectations of the American people. Leadership positions should never be treated as permanent appointments. Senators deserve an opportunity to reconsider their leadership and determine whether a different direction and approach would better serve their caucus and the country. I respectfully ask you to support holding a vote for a new Majority Leader rather than continuing with the current leadership without reconsideration. This is an important opportunity to demonstrate accountability, encourage new leadership, and restore confidence in the Senate's ability to represent the interests of the American people. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope you will take this request seriously and act accordingly.
