Boeing is pleading guilty to felony fraud for lying to the government and trying to cover up the fact that they cast aside moral and professional integrity in the pursuit of money which directly resulted in the deaths of 346 innocent people. They're getting a sweetheart deal after already violating the terms of their sweetheart deal... A fine equal to 0.17% of their annual revenue. A rounding error. Folks say it's because Boeing is such an integral and irreplaceable part of our economy and national defense industry. If that's the case, they shouldn't be run by investors and boards of directors whose sole motive is personal profit. If the company is so critically important to our nation that they can't suffer actual consequences for killing hundreds of people, then the company should be owned by our nation. Nationalize Boeing.
