OPPOSE Taxpayer Funding for White House Ballroom

To: Sen. Padilla, Rep. Garcia, Sen. Schiff

From: A constituent in Long Beach, CA

April 30

I am writing to demand that you vote "NO" on any bill or provision that allocates public funds for White House ballroom renovations. The American people were explicitly promised that this project would be privately funded. To shift this cost to taxpayers now—especially while we are navigating a war and record-high inflation—is a direct breach of trust and fiscally reckless. Our tax dollars should be prioritized for the needs of struggling citizens and national security, not for luxury renovations that were promised at zero cost to the public. Please represent the interests of your constituents and reject this misuse of public funds.
