August 6

The American people are appalled by the damage done to our national monuments and by the weakening of both the National Parks Service and the Forest Service. Attacks on our precious shared heritage are unacceptable. We also deplore the corruption and secrecy of the current administration. It has recently been reported that S.1674, the Mammoth Cave National Park Boundary Adjustment Act of 2025, authored by Senator Mitch McConnell, has advanced. Please find out how this happened. Senator McConnell is reportedly still in rehabilitation at George Washington University Hospital. He has been unable to appear in public, and he has not released a video or given an interview. Indeed, many people have questioned whether he is still alive. Please respond and tell me: How did this legislation move forward? Do Senate staff have the authority to advance legislation on a senator’s behalf? Please urge others to vote against this bill and to speak out against it. Also, clarify whether McConnell’s staff improperly signed official documents on his behalf, had access to classified materials intended for him, or otherwise engaged in improper or unauthorized activities while he was absent and apparently unable to carry out his usual duties and responsibilities.
