Please act now to do all that is in your power to protect our free and fair election process. We should be allowing outside observers. What a disgrace to join Russia and Belarus as the only other countries who refuse this oversight. Please also do your part to assure the orderly transfer of power in January. Ensure that the newly elected representatives will be sworn in without delay. Use your voices to speak out against any rumblings that hint at any repeat of the horrific chaos that erupted on January 6, 2021. That was a dark day in our history and it should never happen again. I’m looking especially at you, Senators Husted and Moreno, to call out anyone who speaks or acts in any ways to suggest they would not oppose such reprehensible behavior from happening again. I expect each of you to be speaking out and making it known that you will not support anything but the orderly transition of power.
