Investigate Elon Musk's role in cutting Ukraine's access to Starlink communications networks. When Politico reported that Democrats planned to do exactly that, Musk responded on social media: "Live by the sword, die by the sword. Those who pick fights with me should understand that I will find out who is really pulling the strings and come for them, not just their puppets." That is a direct threat against members of Congress, and it cannot go unanswered. Ukraine's vulnerability to Russian attacks grew when Starlink access was cut. A baby was killed in a stroller at a public park this week as Russian bombardment continued. Meanwhile, Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff was calling Putin a "humanitarian." Someone made the decision to cut that access, and the American public has a right to know who. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick was right to promise "immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head." Follow through. Musk's fortune depends almost entirely on government contracts, and Congress has real leverage here. Use it.
