No Ballroom. / Arch Without Congressional Approval

To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall, Rep. Estes

From: A constituent in Bel Aire, KS

April 17

Please, no ballroom or arch unless approved by Congress. DC and the White House are NOT Trump's property to do whatever he wants. And being the endless liar he is, I seriously expect to find taxpayers ending up with the bill. That is Trump's modus operandus as long as he's been able to handle money: Stiff the buyer, provide, supplier, anyone. He's pulling the wool over your eyes. He says the $400M ballroom is privately funded. Where are the receipts? Who is controlling that money? Where are the detailed plans that substantiate the estimate? Were acquisition laws followed in selection of contractors and manufacturers? Oversight is one of your jobs. You remind us every time a Democrat sits in the WH. So, are you doing your job on the ballroom? Please, prove it. Or resign and get out of the way. Oh, have you done your job to ensure the DOJ is turning over the Epstien files legally and completely? Remember, you signed the law! If you don't even care to follow laws you approved, why are you in Congress making those laws?
