Please work TO STOP the corrupt Trump Administration from adding brass band instruments and/or their components to Trump's tariffs! They already had a 15% tariff slapped on them and now the Conn Selmer Bach Eastlake, OH plant is out of business. Trump just added the brass to the Section 232 Tariffs at 50% calling brass instruments national security threats (how ridiculous!)! Our band instruments made in the Midwest are national treasure; however we cannot expect them to survive without the student models being imported with the skyrocketing cost of everything!!! (Even if a hedge fund owner owns Steinway, which owns Conn Selmer, we cannot let Trump kill brass manufacturing in IL/IN) The oligarchs are now trying to pull a Carl Icahn Motorola move on the school band programs! Make it stop. How long must we tolerate their self-serving ignorance?! Please do something -- Anything -- to stop these evildoers from killing our precious American school band programs through tariffs. Thank you!
