I am very concerned that we are in a constitutional crisis and yet our Republican Representatives are either silent or openly complicit. It is frightening to see people pulled off the streets and sent to prison camps without due process, it is frightening to see universities threatened if they don’t comply with the Trump agenda. The silencing of free speech is unconstitutional. Not giving people due process is unconstitutional. Defying court orders is unconstitutional. The Executive branch taking over the duties of the legislative branch (yes, you) is unconstitutional. Only you have the power to stop this, to stop us from becoming a fascist country. Why are you allowing this to happen? Please band with your fellow legislators and stop Donald Trump from destroying our country. Your constituents are pleading, the world is watching, history will judge what you do as either complicit in our demise or a hero in saving our democracy. Please do the right thing and stand up for democracy. Stop Donald Trump!
