I feel my voice is not being heard. As my representative, you have a responsibility to prioritize the needs of your constituents over corporate interests. Yet, I see overwhelming tax dollars funneled into the military while critical domestic issues—such as education, gun violence, health insurance, and housing—remain underfunded and broken.
The political landscape we face today, marked by inequality and disillusionment, is unsustainable. Billions of dollars sent abroad for weapons, including to Israel, stand in stark contrast to the lack of investment in social welfare programs at home.
I urge you to champion policies that:
1. Reduce corporate influence in politics through campaign finance reform.
2. Reallocate military spending toward healthcare, affordable housing, and education.
3. Address gun violence with common-sense reforms like universal background checks and red flag laws.
It’s time for bold leadership. Either work to fix these systemic issues or step aside for those who will. I expect your commitment to addressing these concerns and look forward to your response.
