I am writing to strongly urge you to vote NO on the nomination of Linda McMahon to any position requiring Senate confirmation. Her past actions and legal entanglements make her wholly unfit for any public office, and approving her would be a disgrace to the integrity of our government. McMahon is currently implicated in a lawsuit tied to the cover-up of horrific abuse within WWE, specifically her role in enabling Mel Phillips’ sexual abuse of underage boys. This alone should immediately disqualify her from any position of public trust. No individual who failed to protect vulnerable children from exploitation should be rewarded with more power. Furthermore, Linda McMahon’s close proximity to her husband, Vince McMahon, who has been accused of human trafficking, raises additional concerns. Given these serious allegations, allowing her into any position of influence would send a dangerous message that such conduct is tolerated in our government. Public service should be reserved for individuals of the highest ethical standards, not those who have turned a blind eye to abuse and corruption. I implore you to take a stand for accountability and justice by voting NO on Linda McMahon’s confirmation.
