Please pass the PRESS act, S.2074. This bill is vital to protect our journalists from government overreach and ensure the protections enshrined in the Constitution are upheld. Do not let the incoming administration bully you into killing this bill, this is a core American principle and central to our democracy. If we don't protect free press we take steps towards authoritarian rule. Do not let our country become more like China, Russia, or other dictatorships. The founding fathers would be ashamed.
