I'm reading that AI is an 'Alternative Species'. One of the most chilling missives from one AI agent to another during the Hugging Face incident was 'Don't tell the humans'. We can not slow play this. Period. I know, we need the AI race to continue so the economy and the markets will stay strong. Well there will be no markets or world unless we get a handle on this. We need a Manhattan Project for AI immediately. And Meta, who could care less about what they have done to children worldwide and still won't sign onto any AI slowdown, needs to be kneecapped somehow. The history of man is about war and triumph. We are building something more powerful than us that will take this violent history forward, in it's own way. I already know how this plays out unless something is done, right now. Humanity is at stake here. Congress needs to drop everything and address this. NOW.
