Hey, GOP, it’s your moment of truth. Are you going to continue to demonstrate that you care more about the elite - including the sexual predators in your ranks - than the needs of the American people? Time to show us if you have it in you to be the public servant you were elected to be. Will you protect access to affordable health insurance for everyday Americans (please stop the blatant lie that this is a handout to immigrants)? Will you allow the release of already earmarked funds that are being unconstitutionally withheld? Because that’s what you’re standing in the way of with YOUR GOP shutdown. This is a low bar, to ask you to consider the needs of your constituents. To ask you not to keep sacrificing our wellbeing to the ego of a self-dealing tyrant, who hasn’t demonstrated a single care for either the Bible or the constitution, beyond how they can be cherry-picked for his personal benefit or vendettas. This chaotic charade of leadership serves a select few, and is selling out the rest of us. It is not making America great. It IS making an everyday mockery of faith, truth, democracy, and justice. It is appalling. So, moment of truth. What will you do? We’re all watching.
