Congress NEEDS to stop this disaster NOW! PLEASE DO SOMETHING! We’ve called! We’ve emailed! We’ve marched and rallied. Cory Booker spoke for more than 25 hours standing up with no toilet or meal breaks. Another senator just put a stop of confirming nominees… yet, DEMs is still playing nice like the old norms still works and should be respected when the other party is intent on destroying this country and recreate it in their own image! Federal employees are being fired. Qualified scientist and civil servants who have crucial roles in the health, security, interagency etc have been decimated. Measles and other diseases are raging! LGBTQIA, black history, women’s history, our own immigration history is being erased now because only straight white men can be leaders. Social security is failing and our seniors are badly impacted. Citizens and immigrants with the proper visa are being picked up on the streets and disappeared and we don’t see any action from congress is fighting back. The courts which is our last line of defense is gone as they don’t respect the rule of law! What’s the purpose of 104%tariffs on china or the rest of the world? Are the factories ready? Who suffers from this? Our retirement account has now been decimated with a 30% drop. My sister in law who just lost her husband to cancer now have difficulty getting in touch with social security right now and she has to struggle to get through in her time of grief. Yet, the DEMs still continue to behave like business is normal and continue to vote for their bills! Stop this craziness now! Every infrastructure and safe guard that we’ve built or advocated over the decades are being destroyed! WAKE UP PLEASE! You all have been voted to represent us and this country! Please do your job and stop this craziness! Block EVERY bill right now and force them to come to the table to negotiate or to make them accountable! Take back your power now!the GOP has shown us that Minority party has some power and can stop progress… so why are you all not using all those power to stop this? DO SOMETHING NOW!
