My level of disgust with the American legal system has reached an all-time high today. After 4 or so years Trump has never been held accountable for the crimes he is accused of committing. Only a former president or the very wealthy could hope to get such special white glove soft touch treatment. Any other American would have long ago been forced to stand trial and face the consequences of their actions. But for some reason the rich and the powerful get to delay, delay, delay. No one is supposed to be above the law in America. Yet it seems Trump is close to being exactly that, above the law. Congress needs to make sure he can't escape justice no matter what happens in November!
