Extending the Trump tax cuts while failing to offset the massive costs would be fiscally reckless and detrimental to the country's economic stability. Exploding federal deficits risks crashing markets, spiking interest rates, and sending the already shaky economy into a severe downturn. Prioritizing tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthy over responsible fiscal policy is misguided. Rather than lining the pockets of the rich through unfunded tax breaks, Congress should focus on practical solutions that promote sustained economic growth and financial security for all Americans, not just the privileged few. Bipartisan cooperation is needed to address the nation's fiscal challenges in a responsible manner that avoids jeopardizing the country's economic well-being.
