SAVE Doesn’t Save Us

I write to you this evening to discourage you from voting for the SAVE Act. It is not that I don’t support voter ID, I do. I work for a County Clerk’s Office in KY and we handle all elections so I know how important this is. The problem with the SAVE Act is that the Real ID that have been pushed for years in KY do NOT meet the citizenship requirement, they do not state where you were born. Please think about those that would vote for you or the one that will be replacing you. The majority of them cannot afford a passport which does meet the citizenship requirement. You would disenfranchise your own support.
