War crimes or murder?

To: Sen. Hawley, Sen. Schmitt, Rep. Graves

From: A constituent in Plattsburg, MO

December 8

War Crimes or murder? Why is it that the coast guard stops, boards drug boats, searches them and then seizes both drugs and the criminals running the drugs but SECDEF/Admiral Bradley and those under his command KILLS drug runners? I see no evidence of combatants that are an imminent threat to the US. If they are and require immediate killing, why aren’t we killing drug runners in Mexico and China? It’s a ridiculous argument. What is the mission and under what authority are they acting? Why don’t we see the names of these combatants that are killed? Why doesn’t Congress give authority for this conflict and provide legal authority? What are the rules of engagement? This entire mission is undefined, ill-advised and there is no proof who is being killed and what exactly is on the boats. It appears the military is randomly killing sailors, killing survivors and yet, has RELEASED some that were captured. Please explain to me WHAT the MISSION IS and WHAT the US is trying to accomplish. I expect an answer.
