I am so disappointed. Where is our leadership? Where is checks and balances? Where is the security? I have never felt that our leadership is lacking but I feel that way today. I am scared for myself, my children and my nation. The idea that going to war is going to help any of us is just plain crazy. They are people just trying to live their lives just like us. Why do we all have to put up with poor leadership? Just because you all have the privilege to move your families around if you aren’t safe doesn’t mean we all have the financial resources to do so. Why would a war with Iran when we have betrayed our allies and betrayed ourselves be a good idea? We used to be a super power. A beacon of hope and justice to other nations. Now we are just a corrupt as a banana republic. Our best chance now is to leave this country in hopes of better opportunities for our children. Just like immigrants here have done. We were shelter. We were a fair shot at a better life. Now we are no better than what they came from. I’m so sad for me, my children and my old friend America. Just like old friends sometimes, we don’t recognize each other anymore.
