Vote No on the Save Act

To: Sen. Ernst, Sen. Grassley, Rep. Nunn

From: A constituent in Urbandale, IA

April 9

Vote No on the Safeguard American voter eligibility act. This will harm American citizens. This will harm the tradition of marriage. Millions of women will change their name from their husband's last name, back to their maiden name. This might even result in thousands of divorces. Just so American women can keep their constitutional right to vote. A married woman should not have to bring extra documents to prove her citizenship, just because she wanted to take her husband's last name. This will harm anyone that changed their name to get away from violence, domestic or otherwise. The Save Act puts them at risk. Vote No on the Save Act. It is not helping Americans.
