What you have done to investigate abuses of power - what you will do next?

To: Rep. Moore, Sen. Capito, Sen. Justice

From: A constituent in Buckhannon, WV

September 29

I am furious that Congress continues to treat serious allegations of misconduct by President Trump and members of his administration as politics to manage instead of conduct to investigate. The president’s allies do not get immunity from oversight because they belong to your party. Where are the hearings, subpoenas, demands for records, and public answers? Where evidence supports criminal referrals or articles of impeachment, pursue them. If you believe the conduct does not warrant those steps, explain that conclusion to your constituents and show us the evidence you considered. West Virginians are expected to follow the law and answer for our actions. We should expect at least as much from the people running the federal government. I want each of you to tell me, specifically, what you have done to investigate alleged abuses of power and what you will do next. Silence and partisan excuses are not acceptable.
