The Grand Canyon Park's Superintendent, Ed Keable's decision to initially handle the North Rim fire as a controlled burn reveals Ed Keable has his head where the sun never shines. The loss of the North Rim Lodge, the cabins and the whole shebang requires multiple terminations of employment starting at the top, with Ed Keable.
This is unforgivable malfeasance that cost the United States a wonderful facility. The loss could easily have been avoided if the fire had been put out early on, as it could have been.
After termination, if it was up to me, I would impose forty lashes with a cat-o-nine-tails.
Please support firing Ed Keable for this unforgivable bad decision to let a fire burn in a tinder box dry national park that cost us a wonderful lodge and all the supporting historic structures.
