An Open Letter

To: Sen. McCormick, Rep. Perry, Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in York, PA

September 15, 2025

Charlie Kirk's death was tragic. He did not deserve to die, especially in such a violent public way. He claimed to love his country, but he did not love it's people, at least not all of them. He was a bigoted, misogynistic racist and spread seeds of hatred and division. He was not in the military, or did he hold elected office. He does not deserve to be honored and memorialized, especially at the taxpayer's expense. The idea of erecting a statue of him to stand among statesmen of this country is abhorrent and contrary to everything this country is supposed to stand for.
