Furthermore, an arms embargo against Israel must be implemented to prevent the flow of weapons fueling this conflict. It is unacceptable for our government to continue supplying Israel with the means to commit such grave crimes against the Palestinian people. We must prioritize human lives over corporate profits from the weapons industry. The situation in Gaza demands a firm stance against the disproportionate violence and oppression inflicted by the Israeli military. As an elected representative, you have a moral obligation to uphold human rights and pursue a just resolution to this crisis. I implore you to support initiatives for a ceasefire, an arms embargo on Israel, and an end to our complicity in enabling these atrocities through military aid.
