GLP-1 op-ed appreciated, but where is your voice on other important topics?

To: Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Morrisville, PA

April 30

I want to thank you for your recent op-ed on Mounjaro and GLP-1 medications. As someone who believes deeply in equitable access to healthcare, I truly appreciate your transparency and advocacy on this issue. At the same time, I’m writing to express concern—not just about your silence over the past 100 days regarding Donald Trump and the threat he poses to our democracy—but also about the lack of meaningful access to your office. I’ve called over 50 times in recent months, and not once have I reached a real person. Voicemail is unavailable before and after business hours, and I’ve only received three email responses—two of which were identical and unrelated to my original outreach (they referenced the filibuster, a topic I haven’t contacted your office about). As someone who has supported and voted for you, this has been disappointing. I know you’ve built your reputation on being direct and accessible. I hope to see that continue—not just on issues like healthcare, but also in defending democracy and showing up for constituents trying to engage.
