Demand full compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act

To: Sen. Cruz, Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Van Duyne

From: A constituent in Dallas, TX

July 26

Judge Emmet Sullivan concluded the DOJ is violating the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is stonewalling releasing unredacted documents for court review. My wife and I urge you to publicly demand the DOJ comply fully and immediately release the files. Nothing less is acceptable. In addition, the public has a legal right to see them. The DOJ's plan to appeal Sullivan's ruling is a transparent attempt to run out the clock on accountability. This Republican administration does not get to decide which laws apply to it or its rich colleagues. The Epstein Files Transparency Act exists precisely because Congress recognized executive self-interest cannot be trusted to govern disclosure. You must make clear obstruction of a court order is not an option. By not demanding the files’ release, you are complicit in child trafficking, rape, torture, and murder. Demand the immediate release of the files, as required by law.
