Dear Representative, I am writing to you as your constituent to urge you to support the impeachment and removal of President Donald Trump. I understand the political cost you may be weighing. I am asking you to weigh it against the cost of inaction — not just to the country, but to your own legacy. History remembers the people who stepped up when it mattered. It does not remember them kindly when they didn’t. The members of Congress who voted to impeach Richard Nixon did not destroy the Republican Party. They saved it. They preserved its credibility as a governing institution because they demonstrated that loyalty to the Constitution outweighed loyalty to any one man. That is the choice before you now. President Trump has threatened the execution of sitting members of Congress. He has openly intimidated federal judges. He has escalated an unauthorized military conflict in Iran and threatened to annihilate an entire civilization. These are not partisan talking points — they are documented actions that violate the oath you and he both swore to uphold. A majority of American voters now support impeachment. That number will only grow. The question is not whether this presidency will be judged harshly by history — it will be. The question is whether you will be remembered as someone who defended it or someone who defended the Republic. You have the opportunity right now to be the kind of leader people tell their children about — the one who, when it counted, chose the country. Patriots do not wait for permission. They act when the moment demands it, even when it is difficult. Especially when it is difficult. I am not asking you to be disloyal to your party. I am asking you to be loyal to your country. Those two things should never be in conflict, but when they are, the Constitution is clear about which one comes first. Your constituents are watching. History is watching. The world is watching.
