I was very disappointed the Senator opposed Sen. Sanders’ resolution against sending arms to Israel, breaking with a majority of the Democratic Caucus in doing so and aligning with all Republicans. Not only is this vote perpetuating what is increasingly plainly a genocide of the Palestinian people of Gaza, it is making the world more dangerous for Jews; Marjorie Taylor Green has now called the genocide what it is, and I’m afraid the truly antisemitic MAGA base will use the opportunity to make American Jews suffer for the crimes of the Israeli government. Please learn a lesson from the judicial appointment of Emil Bove, who fills a seat left absent because a Muslim Biden nominee was unjustly and senselessly smeared in the name of protecting Jewish people, and stand up to the real threats.
