I am reaching out to you today as your constituent and as an American. I urge you to consider swift passage of the No Kings Act in an effort to protect the sacred principles upon which our nation was founded on: that we are beholden to no king or tyrant; that we elect our leaders to uphold the rights and freedoms outlined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Much like the scales of justice, our system of government only represents the people fairly when there are checks and balances in place. No one individual is above the law. We are equals. Please do not take this lightly, we are only as good as the faith in our institutions. Thank you for your time and consideration.
