Congress never authorized military action against Iran, yet U.S. forces are now conducting strikes, enforcing blockades, and exchanging fire in the Strait of Hormuz. You must demand the immediate withdrawal of U.S. forces from this illegal conflict.
Thursday's strikes against Iranian launch sites and command centers represent a dangerous escalation of unauthorized hostilities. The President dismissed these attacks as "just a love tap," but this is war without congressional approval. U.S. destroyers are enforcing a blockade and conducting offensive operations while the administration claims this doesn't constitute a resumption of war. That's absurd.
The Constitution gives Congress alone the power to declare war. The President has no authority to wage an offensive military campaign without your approval. This isn't self-defense when we're blockading their waters and striking their territory. Every day these operations continue without authorization is a violation of the Constitution and the War Powers Resolution.
Invoke the War Powers Resolution to force withdrawal of U.S. forces from the region. Cut funding for offensive operations in and around Iranian waters. The American people did not vote for another Middle East war, and you have both the authority and the obligation to stop it.
