US refuses to blame Russia for the Ukraine war, splitting with our NATO Allies

As a U.S. Army officer during the 1970's and 80's, who served in Europe as part of NATO to protect the West against the U.S.S.R., I am outraged over the United States refusal to vote to condemn Russia's aggressive invasion of Ukraine. This brazen act of aggression contradicts the principles of the U.N. Charter and completely undermines the rules-based international order. Failing to hold Russia accountable smacks of the appeasement that happened in the late 1930's with Nazi Germany directly leading to World War II. Has our current administration forgotten this lesson? This position is completely unconscionable. I want my congressional represenatives to express this position to the administration in the strongest possible terms.
