An Open Letter

To: Sen. Parker

From: A constituent in Lewisville, TX

Bill 366, the bill proposed to ban political memes, while may be good intention to at least fight against deep fake AI, is harmful against our constitutional right for free speech! This bill would undoubtedly only protect those in interest of the Republicans, and disregard the other political facing parties. Free speech is an inalienable right that we have as Americans first, and this slippery slope will surely devolve our country even further. This absolute desecration to one of our very first rights as Americans must be stopped. There are more important things that need to be done rather than worrying and wasting effort and tax money on banning MEMES.
