No More Genocide

The ongoing violence and disproportionate use of force against Palestinians must end. The systematic human rights violations, including the killing of civilians and indiscriminate bombing of populated areas, is unacceptable and deeply concerning. Israel's military occupation of Palestinian territories and expansion of illegal settlements are major drivers of conflict and instability. As a democratic nation purportedly committed to human rights, the United States has a responsibility to use its considerable influence to pressure Israel to end its oppressive policies, respect international law, and work towards a just and peaceful resolution that upholds the dignity and self-determination of the Palestinian people. Continuing to provide military aid and diplomatic cover while turning a blind eye only enables further death and suffering. It is imperative that we pursue accountability, adhere to human rights principles, and support an end to this grave injustice and humanitarian crisis. The status quo of oppression and dispossession is unsustainable.
