They Are Paying Putin While Iran Fights Us

Dear Representative, Russia is not our ally and never has been. From the Cold War to today, Moscow has worked against American interests around the world, propped up hostile regimes, and built partnerships with our adversaries, Iran first among them. Its values are not ours, and we should not align with them. Yet this administration is preparing to reward Moscow. Russia is openly demanding sanctions relief as its price for any deal, and the White House has been weighing it. Bipartisan members of Congress have already warned that relief would embolden Russia and prolong the war. They are right. Sanctions relief means money, and Russian money buys weapons. Russia and Iran are strategic partners who arm and supply one another. Every dollar we hand the Kremlin strengthens a partner of a nation that has been at war with the United States. That is not diplomacy. It is aiding our enemies. Generations of Americans served and died from Korea to the Gulf War to hold the line against authoritarian aggression. Rewarding Moscow now makes a mockery of that sacrifice. I ask that you: • Publicly oppose any sanctions relief for Russia and vote to block it • Demand full enforcement of the Russia sanctions legislation Congress recently passed • Require the administration to disclose all terms discussed with Moscow • Support impeachment and removal of the officials responsible for this betrayal Our security is not a bargaining chip. Stand up for it. Sincerely, A Voting Constituent
