I am calling upon you to join me in demanding the safe return of men wrongfully deported to the deplorable prisons in El Salvador without due process, particularly Kilmar Abrego Garcia and Andry Romero. America is better than this. We deserve representation from our legislators and this action has been wholly unjust. Seeing President Bukele’s callous reaction [to the questions about the safe return of the men] and Donald Trump’s flippant and evil smirk made my blood run cold. Please work to restore our democracy and listen to the citizens of this country.
