Data centers

To: Sen. Pittman, Rep. Bashline

From: A constituent in Worthington, PA

June 10

Senator Muth’s moratorium bill is the most important piece of legislation in Pennsylvania right now. A three year pause to let communities catch up to what is being done to them without their consent. By 2028 data centers supporting AI could use 720 billion gallons of water annually and enough electricity to power 28 million homes. That is not progress. That is extraction. Please co-sponsor and support this vital legislation! Voters on both sides of the aisle are united in not wanting data centers in our communities. This is the window now to put the brakes on, and it is closing.
