Do NOT compromise with Rs on the government shut-down

I’ve read this morning that some Democrats are seeking a compromise with Republicans to end the government shut-down, and the compromise would include a “future vote” on extending ACA supplemental funding. I do not support this, and Tuesday’s election results show we don’t need to compromise. I’m reminded of the ongoing theme in the cartoon Peanuts, where Lucy takes the football away from Charlie Brown. The Rs do not bargain in good faith - do NOT compromise with Rs based on future promises!
