There’s nothing “beautiful” about this bill. H.R.1 kicks people off health care, takes food off the table, guts climate programs, and hands billions in tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy and defense contractors. That’s not governing — that’s looting. This bill rips apart programs working people rely on just to survive. Slashing Medicaid and food assistance, all while making the Trump tax cuts permanent, doesn’t help families — it helps CEOs and the politically connected. It also throws billions at weapons systems and border walls we don’t need, while repealing clean energy investments that are already creating jobs and cutting costs. This is a bad bill, plain and simple. Vote NO on H.R.1 and stop Congress from trading people’s basic needs for corporate favors and political points.
