I’m a Florida constituent demanding you oppose any attempt at mid-cycle redistricting. The Florida Constitution—Article III, Sections 20 and 21 (Fair Districts Amendments)—explicitly prohibits drawing or redrawing districts with the intent to favor a political party or incumbent, or to diminish minority voting strength.
Any effort to revisit maps now for partisan advantage is presumptively unconstitutional and an abuse of legislative authority. Florida courts have already enforced these standards, and ignoring them invites immediate legal challenge.
This is not a policy debate—it is a constitutional compliance issue. Do not participate in or support any redistricting effort that violates Florida’s Constitution.
